The Triumph Spitfire Mk3 we are restoring is making great progress now. We have primed the body and have started spraying the top coat. Not long before we can start putting this classic Triumph back together.

We’ve been doing a bit of light restoration and tidying up of a VW Golf Mk4 TDi.
As with a lot of cars over 10 years old, while they’re still great to drive and reliable – they front end can look a bit run down due to all those stone chips and car park dings.
The front end of this VW Golf looks like new and is ready for another 10+ years of motoring.

This extremely rare DeSoto Fireflite has come in to us for an inspection/estimate for restoration.
The DeSoto Fireflite was produced by the DeSoto Division of the Chrysler Corporation in the USA and only made between 1955 and 1960.

This 1961 Jaguar Mk2 3.4 has come into the workshop to have the engine and running gear removed for re-furbishment.

Our next restoration project is quite modern compared to our usual classic cars but it could be argued that this Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo will become a modern classic.
We will be restoring this high performance Nissan to its former glory, more details and photos coming soon.

It’s been a good week on the Triumph Herald restoration. We have media blasted the chassis and bulkhead as well as applying a coat of primer to protect it from rusting.
The blasting revealed some considerable damage to the chassis which must be addressed before we re-build the chassis.
Thankfully, repair panels are readily available so it looks worse than it is…

Now that we have finished re-painting this classic Jaguar Mk1, we have masked off the engine bay ready for steam cleaning before the engine and gearbox are re-installed:

This week we have been working hard on the 1968 VW Beetle cabriolet, the floor pans have been cut out ready for replacement panels to be fitted.

We have been busy working on the Herald’s chassis. Last week we installed brand new outriggers.
These have infinitely increased the structural rigidity of the chassis compared to the original outriggers which had rotted through.

We are in the process of stripping the 1968 VW Beetle cabriolet down and will be carrying out any repairs before preparing it for paint.
The body is relatively rust free which makes this classic VW a breeze compared to some of the other VW’s we have worked on in the past.
