The VW camper we are restoring has now been painted & looks great. Rather than a smooth, modern finish – the owner wanted a mottled/textured finish which is more in character with the original paint finish.

1968 VW Beetle – Full Restoration

We’ve got a 1968 VW Beetle in for full restoration at the moment. The owner brought the car to us after not seeing any progress on the car for 2 years at a local garage. In the 3 months we’ve had the car we’ve painted/stone chipped & completely re-build the floor pan, the body has been blasted & a lot of previous repairs have been rectified/corrected.

Now the Beetle is in bare metal/etch primer and we’re just doing a few final repairs on the body before getting it ready for primer and paint.

The body didn’t look too bad after being blasted (we’ve seen a lot worse!), we’ve repaired some rot around the windscreen aperture & are in the process of fitting a new panel below the fuel tank and working our way around the body to ensure it is 100% solid before sending it to the paint booth.

Rolls Royce Camargue – Project Update

The Rolls Royce Camargue is almost complete, we just need to fit a few finishing touches & give the body a final sand/polish. We knew they were rare cars, but didn’t realise how rare – we’ve been approached by Fifth Gear’s Jonny Smith & James May about wanting to see it once it’s done!
